Youth Racquetball

Overview

Racquetball is a greatly underappreciated sport for both youths and adults. Many people are not aware of its existence, but those who try it out quickly love it.

Racquetball is great for those that do not thrive in team sport environments, have not found their perfect fit yet, or need personalized attention. Additionally, it is excellent at improving footwork and conditioning to excel in other sports.

The White Marsh Recreation Council Youth Racquetball Program consist of three main components: private lessons, group lessons, and tournaments. All activities take place at the Northeast Regional Recreation Center in Parkville.

The program is adaptive and inclusive. Everyone can participate in the White Marsh Recreation Council Youth Racquetball Program.

The program is led by USA-Racquetball Certified Instructor Coach Leon Thomas. Mr. Thomas has been coaching for over 40 years, at the youth, high school, and college levels.
