Kreative Kids

Overview

Kreative Kids is a way for your child to express themselves through drama and art. Children will participate in improvisation, skits, scenery and prop making, painting, ceramics, beadwork, mosaics and much more. Ms. Daly, Ms. Coleman and Mrs. Dohler will instruct the classes.

Children can sign up for Tuesday/Thursday classes.  This program is only available to Chapel Hill Elementary School students.

Kathleen Daly has been teaching at Chapel Hill Elementary for four years and currently teaches first grade. She is originally from New York and decided to stay in Baltimore after earning her Master’s degree in education at Towson University. Kathleen lives in Nottingham and enjoys cooking, painting, craft projects and being outdoors.

Joanie Dohler has taught both kindergarten and first grade at Chapel Hill for the last 5 years, Previously, she taught kindergarten for 9 years at Sandalwood Elementary. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art and a masters degree in education. Joanie lives in Harford County with her husband, Mike, and two child, Evan (13) and Sarah (11). Joanie enjoys drawing, gardening, & watching her children play sports.

Lorraine Coleman teaches Kindergarten at Chapel Hill. She transferred from Hawthorne Elementary where she taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten and also taught 1st grade at Immaculate Conception School in Towson. Lorraine received her Masters degree in Education and Reading from JHU. She lives in Lutherville with Chloe the dog and Sneakers the cat. Lorraine loves to travel, garden, get involved in creative projects, and find a great fashion bargain. As a native New Yorker, her new favorite thing is to visit her daughter Lauren who recently moved to a cool Manhattan apartment… what fun is that?
