To assist in keeping staff, volunteers, participants and residents safe and minimize the spread of the COVID-19 Virus, the Department of Recreation and Parks is taking the following steps.

• All organized recreational activities are canceled until further notice.
• The Department is advising the County’s Recreation and Nature Councils to cancel organized activities. This cancellation also includes all out-of-state travel programs.
• At this time, Department facilities will remain open during normal operating hours.

We understand that many of you have questions regarding the upcoming Spring Session. While at this time we do not have information as to how long classes will be cancelled, we fully intend on having a 10 week Spring Session. Please know that we will adjust the dates of the Spring Session accordingly. Information is changing on a constant basis. Updates will be provided when available.
