White Marsh Recreation Council offers a recreational gymnastics program to provide a healthy, enjoyable leisure experience for children ages 2-16. Classes are offered for tots (ages 2 - 4), beginners (ages 4½ - 8), juniors (ages 8 - 16) and advanced (by approval of the instructor). Experienced gymnastics instructors supervise the participants on the equipment, which includes balance beams, uneven bars, vault, training mats, hoops, bar trainer and mini trampoline. Family and friends have the opportunity to observe the children's progress during one or more exhibition classes during the session. The final class for each group includes an awards ceremony.
