2018 Winter Session Schedule
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Are parents allowed in the gym during class?
A: NO, parents are not allowed in the gym during class. This is to avoid distractions during class. The ONLY parents that are allowed in the gym during class are those participating in the parent participation class – the tot program. Parents that participate in the tot class are expected to exit the gym once their class is over. Parents will have the opportunity to observe their child in class during observations days.
Q: Do you accept credit cards as a form of payment?
A: No, we do not accept credit cards at this time. We only accept cash or check as a form of payment.
Q: If I will not be available to attend open registration can I sign my child up on-line or hold a space for my child?
A: No, we do not hold spaces. Unfortunately, you must attend open registration to register. We do not offer on-line registration at this time.
Q: What if I attend open registration and I still don’t get to register my child?
A: We offer the opportunity for current participants to pre-register before we hold open registration. Classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis. We try very hard to keep this information updated evening during open registration so those standing in line know if the class that they are requesting is filled before they reach the front of the line. You can be put on a contact list in the event spaces are full.
Q: If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather or any other reason will a make-up class be offered or a refund?
A: We will make every effort to offer a make-up class. However, we will not offer refunds in the event the rec schedule does not allow us the opportunity to make-up missed classes.
Q: If my child misses a class due to illness can we make-up the missed class?
A: Yes, you are able to make-up the missed class. Please email WMRCgymnastics@gmail.com to schedule a make-up class. Make-up classes must be scheduled during the same session and cannot be carried over to the next session.
Q: What should my child wear?
A: Participants should wear anything comfortable. Girls can wear a leotard but it is not required. We ask that all participants wear anything comfortable (i.e. leggings, cotton pants/shorts, sweats, tee shirts). We ask that they do not wear anything with buttons. Hair that is long should be pulled back and no jewelry.
Q: Can I register another child during pre-registration or open registration?
A: No, parents or legal guardians MUST sign the registration forms.
Q: What if I register my child then decide that I don’t want to take the class will I be eligible for a refund?
A: We do not offer any refunds after the second class. If you have paid for registration and decide that you no longer want to participate in the program, you will be charged a $25.00 processing fee. This is done because you have secured a space in one of our classes and we are generally not able to fill that space once the session begins.
